| Super Moderator  | It has been a while since I had been able to make it into chat, I did have (and still do, actually--plenty of traditions that have to be taken care of, it's going to take the better part of the rest of the year for things to settle down) a lot of family biz that needed attention, so while I was posting in my own time, trying to make it into chat was proving difficult, but I'll probably have more time soon. Yesterday, I saw that SHH and Chuppy were there, so hopped in. fr1endly2, ((((((HUGS)))))) too bad that Nexium is giving you issues. I gather your dr prescribed it to take it in the morning? You know, we often prescibe PPIs and H2 blockers to be taken after dinner, or before bed time so the nausea doesn't bother you too much. Maybe you could ask your surgeon if it's OK to take it that way, since you find you're not feeling well in the AM. Hope to see y'all and more in chat again.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | HEY DOC...thanks for your kind reply to my issue with the nexium. ACTUALLY i wasnt told when to take it. BUT i figure i most remember meds in the AM because i take my vitamins then out of habit and I just dont want to miss doces of the nexium. IT was partially my fault to feel icky because i took my med and then went out to do my weekly walmart household shopping and didnt eat.... the key is the med has to be followed by food shortly and i messed up so thats why i think i felt so icky. It has happend on ocasion mostly on the weekends when my routines arent the normal and i dont always eat at a scheduled time like monday thru friday. MAYBE i should switch it to night time i just fear I will forget to take it at the night which would be far worse to my healing of the ulcer. ((THANKS for the great advice))
