Sorry haven't been around in a while, but there was nothing to report and I've been working alot. My previous surgeon really screwed me over and I could care less if I ever got the surgery or not. I found a new surgeon and played his game for the first visit, and hey I liked all of the people in his office, including him. At my first surgeon people were not treated well and questions not answered. Hell, it was like pulling teeth just to get them to send my pre-op test results to the new guy. My first visit to the new guy was just 12 days ago and he calls me today to set the operation date for July 11!!!! I was getting used to the idea it was never gonna happen for me, now I'm scared. I'm sure something will come up between now and then just like before and it will get postponed again. Just thought I'd share my update.

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

That new guy is moving awful quickly, but you did have a good appt with thim and got all your questions and/or concerns answered? Do you feel comfortable and confident in moving ahead that quickly with the new guy? It is your decision in the end make sure you are comfortable with your date. Good luck.

I know a few people who have been operated on by this guy and all are doing very well. They're surgery date was thrown at them quickly too, the one woman, who in a previous post I referenced her using her bra to hold her extra belly skin, had a three day notice. My first appointment went great and I explained to him what I had been through with first surgeon.
