I read in another discussion group how one WLS old timer used a hamburger to bash a stall/plateau. She claimed it added just enough calories and protein to throw the body out of starvation mode. She did it once a month.
Even though my PCP was tickled pink that I had lost 12 pounds in the month since I last saw him, I was whining. "Slow and steady, yadda yadda yadda," was his reply. (Yes, I think he actually said yadda yadda.

)
Anyway, Friday is my DD and my night out every week. I told her I wanted a burger and she said my pick. I picked "In-N-Out". For those of you not in So Cal, In-N-Out is "world famous" for its juicy burgers, fresh ingredients, simple menus, and clean (and I mean CLEAN) stores. I ordered a cheeseburger, no dressing, protein style (no bun...wrapped in big iceberg lettuce leaves). I also ate the crunchy french fry bits on the bottom of Beth's fries.

This morning I was down 2.5 pounds, for a total of 36! YAY!
