 |  Cloths on a cloth line, wow
Headline probably did not make sence and did not know how to word it, ok here goes I washed my new cloths that I wear for going away, maybe I should explain, if you are a farmer you will know what I mean. Ok, I have cloths that we wear at home and around the farm that are not very nice looking and they use to be new cloths but they work there way down the line to everyday cloths. Are you still with me. Ok then we have new cloths that we only wear to go to town or to go away with. Ok, I was washing them this noon and I have been doing it for a long time since I lost all this weight and I hang them on a line in the basement to dry becasue I only put them in the dryer to get the wrinkles out and from their they go on the line to dry the rest of the way. Well I have not paid any attention to the cloths that I hang on the line since I lost all this weight. I really took a good look this noon and wow, those pants and tops look so small hanging on the line, and never dreamed that I would fit into cloths that small. It just amazed me looking at my cloths on the line and really realized how far I have come with my weight loss. Before, oh my gosh were my cloths huge on the line and I could not get to many on one line and now, oh my gosh did I get alot of cloths on the line. My folks came out today and I had to tell them of my wow in the basement of the cloths line. They thaught that was pretty cool and of course when they come out they have to go straight to my garden to see it. My mom was determined to clean my beets. I told her that I can do them later and she said nope that she is going to do them for me, so I went and helped so that she would not get so tired, she is going to be 78 this fall. While we were doing the beets my dad cleaned my carrots for me that are in a tank. He sure enjoyed that becasue he did not have to bend down. Then my dad said, Diana has peas to clean yet and I said nope that I will do them later, that I do not do everything at one time. My dad said to me, it must feel so good tht you can take care of your garden now and have so much energy to do it with. They are so amazed by me and what I can do now. When folks left for home I had two tops to hang up yet and I just stood there in amazment of my new smaller cloths. Never really hit me becasue I was just so busy and did not take the time to stand back and look at my new smaller cloths hanging on the line.
My dad said something to me today, he said that they were so worried about me when I had the surgery and how it would be for me afterwards. Dad said that mom and him did lots of praying for me to be healthy and happy with myself. Then he said that they can see that they do not have to worry about me that I am healthier and so happy with myself. WOW, that was great coming from my Dad.

Great wow's. You have done a wonderful job and I know exactly what you mean with "going out clothes". I don't live on a farm but I do the same thing...old clothes/big clothes to wear around the house and newer better fitting clothes to go out in!

Dear Diana,
first of all I'd love to congratulate you this is a true wow moment. I know exactly what you mean! in fact I can relate to that story when I was packing to travel to Bahrain for a one day meeting, I packed a small hand bag with 3 sets of out clothes and a sleeping gown, shower kit , hair dryer and makeup all of that in small handbag my clothes are much smaller that they can fit in that small bag I was amazed heheheheh and so happy. so I know exactly what you mean I'm very happy for you my dear.
and second of all I'm very happy that your parents are now not worried and can see how healthy and happy you are with yourself. I am too was and still seeking for that satisfactory look in my folks eyes. it's that inner feeling that we always have since childhood that we want to impress them and make them proud and happy towards us. I finally now can see that look in my Daddy's eye and that worths million $$ to me. I saw this look in his eye when I was the top of the class during my educationj but never saw it towards how I looked! now I got it!!!!!!!!!
I'm very happy for you, may God give your parents and you long healthy and happy life. Amen
