She is up to a healthy weight, and feeling better but now her "Gram" as she calls her, is very ill. She asked me to let you all know that she is ok and to please keep her grandmother in your thoughts and prayers.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Thanks so much Kenya for posting a note to everyone. Seems like right after I asked to post a note crap hit the fan even more uh!!! Grandma has lung cancer and it has spread to the lower spine. The lung cancer they can get with surgery but it being in the lower spine there is nothing they can do. She is scheduled for lung surgery on the 14th of this month. I went to AZ the 11th thru the 19th of July to spend time with her, we had a wonderful time. Then I came home and on the 24th I got up to use the rest room, and ended up passing out and falling into the tub, I woke up with hubby tapping my face, I was able to come too enough to wipe (tmi) and the stool was full of bright red blood (tmi again sorry), I told him to call 911. So yet another trip to Er and 5 days in CCU, 4 blood transfusions, 2 Gastric scans, an upper scope, colonascopy, 2 ct scans, and then finally I had to swallow a little camera about the size of my vitiamins, and it took pictures as it traveled through me. and with all the testing they did we have NO clue as to what happened. Thank goodness no surgery this time, I was so scared to even go to the hospital, but knew I had too. My weight is around 160 which I am happy with 121 at my lowest was way too skinny for me. I have stopped my 1300 calorie shakes cause I do not want to get any higher, I could probably be happy around 150 but I think I will keep the extra just incase something happens again. I really want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers!!! Thanks again Kenya for posting for me.!!!! |
