Default have you ever heard of this?

ok let me see if i can explain this.
we had a guy come into the office last week. he is a chiropractor but he is going into accupressure LASER treatments

he tried to get me to try this but i dont think i am quite ready for it. the way he explained it, it might be good for some post opers struggling with bounceback or maintaining. the short version is, they shoot you with laser beams in certain pressure points on your body and your appetite is supressed. how wierd is that??? i guess it would be the same as accupuncture; you know those tiny needles. he says he does it for smokers, pain management, and now he is doing it for weightloss. has anyone heard of this? it was very interesting, but i have my doubts as to whether or not this stuff really works on people....any thoughts?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

If there is an OUNCE of question, I won't buy it. I didn't consider WLS until there was >30 years of studies to back it up.

Here in whacky SoCal, acupressure/puncture comes/goes in popularity. I would have to see some major studies supporting the effectiveness of the treatment/product before I would buy. I don't think it would do harm if Kenya had it done for free, though.

Shiatsu and acupuncture are part of Oriental medicine. There are pressure points that are supposed to supress appetite, and also points that increas appetite. As well as a million other things. If you go search sites on Chinese medicine, or acupuncture or shiatsu, you probably will be able to drag up these "point" maps. I have one in my office for the bottom of the feet that I received from a guy who was promoting portable massage machines when I was attending a medical conference.
Now, I don't know if there's been some true research done about these pressure points, but I do know that some of these points coincide with spots where certain nerves come near the surface, or places where nerves converge or branch, or blood vessels branch out etc, so, anatomically speaking, it isn't completely unfounded.
