OKAY so today I am going to brave SPLISH SPLASH Riverhead NY. ITs a
local waterpark. THE best part is im meeting two WLS friends there with me LisaMarie and Stacy (tantesta).

I look forwrad to having a great time with our families and being able
to enjoy myself without getting totally out of breath and concern that
im the fattest lady in the park. I imagine We will have a great time.

BUT im sure much of my day will be spent in the wave pool, lazy river
and the kiddie cove with my 3 year old son.
I am hopeing next summer more of us from RR will meet up here.

Could you ever imagine going to a huge public place like that in a bathing suit? Or climbing those stairs? Or not fearing getting stuck on the way down the slide?

Have fun. I wish I could have gone with you all, but today is so busy getting my daughter ready to leave tomorrow. Plus, back to work for me tomorrow, too. Where did the summer go????????

Here is a picture of ME, my 3 year old son and 11 year old daughter
going down the lazy river. I didnt bring digital camera so waiting to
finish the disposable camera i bought and get them developed!

thanks MSMOM, wasnt something i could enjoy at 300 lbs
but did at my surgeons goal weight..walking climbing up stairs
and keeping up with the kids was no problem at all!
IT was a great day!

It looks like you had such a fun time. I really wish I could have gone with you guys. I am hoping that next summer I can go with you to Splish Splash or we can go to Hurricane Harbor here, or CamelBeach in the Poconos....so many options...so little time....hehehehe.

SOUNDS NEAT TO ME...
I have heard that i think in the poconos someplace
a great INDOOR water park opened!
I want to look more into that place!
SPLISH SPLASH was a blast and i was pleased
with how well my 3 year old did.
