Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Revenge at Darien Lake Amusement Park!
Hi All!! Yesterday was absolutely awesome and I got some revenge!!!! A year ago I went to the amusement park and wanted to ride the Superman roller coaster. I got in, attempted to strap in, and was asked to exit as the straps would not fit. Not only was I humiliated, it was the turning point for me to look more seriously at the surgery. A year later and I not only strapped in, there was extra strap left!!! The ride was awesome!!! I really needed to do that just to prove to myself that I had accomplished something with the help of my awesome surgeon and support from my family. I hope all of you will be able to get "revenge" on whatever helped you make the final decision to go thru with the surgery. My picture is kinda old and I have a family reunion today, so I am hopeful to get some new pics!! I have to say though, the most satisfying part of this journey thus far has not been the smaller clothes, but the enjoyment both my daughter and I get when she wants to cuddle and I actually have a lap again for her to sit on!! Awesome!!!!!!! That had to feel amazing! Hey, do you live in Buffalo or Rochester? I'm moving back to Buffalo in a couple months. It's been years since I've been to Darien Lake. We always went to Cedar Point in Ohio and after that, most parks don't compare to roller coaster freaks like me and my brothers. But my son and nieces and nephew are small and we'll be going there for years. I can't wait!

Great story, you know my son is 3 so it will not be long before Six Flags, etc, are on our to do list ever summer. I know the feeling of getting turned away, and I plan to be the one getting on and riding the rides with Jeb, lordy knows his momma can't handle the coasters, etc.

I live in Jamestown which is about 1 hour south of Buffalo. We have season passes to Darien Lake so I will be going a few more times this summer!
