Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

they have those isopure protein things. like juice but protein. (i personally thought they were gross but other swear by them). its 40g per bottle. someone else was using those bullet things. another person used protein pudding. (that might be milk based so watch out for that) um...unjury does a chicken soup flavor protein which is ok. if i think of anything else i will post it. thats all i can remember right now. i hope you find something that works. i remember the struggle.

oh i think edie used prostat. 15g of protein per 1 oz. tastes nasty too but helps. not sure where she ordered it but you can google prostat 64 and i asm sure it will come up.

Try SKIM milk and stir in some NON FAT DRY POWDERED Milk.....this will remove all the milk fat....you will still have the proteins without the added fat, sugars etc!!

There are soy milks out there with no added sugar. I always had to go out of my way to find them, If you have a Whole Foods where you are, they have some.

I didn't do good with milk for months and even now I have to be careful. For my protein I use the Nectar protein. I mix it with crystal light and it's just really yummy juice with lots of protein! My favorite is the fuzzy navel flavor (peach/orange) and caribbean cooler which is like a pina colada!

A lot of post ops become lactose intolerant, and that might be your issue, so, even if it isn't milk, if the food or liquid includes lactose, that may be the culprit.

early on I couldn't tolerate milk stuff...now I find that lower fat milks upset my gut badly but not full fat...go figure..preop was lactose intolerant, post op not..however..

re: soy milk..they ..all the ones in the grocery store have all types of SYRUP in them, you're not tolerating the sugar, buy one that are pure soymilk or make your own, it's not that tough really, just tricky on the boiling
and add your own sweetner.

I'm a newbie, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I like Isopure. Heard about it here, and so far it's the only protein drink that doesn't make me want to wretch. I've mixed the Alpine Punch Isopure ready-to-drink with Crystal Light fruit punch, and it's actually pretty good. Not gritty like some of the milk-based protein shakes I've tried. It's available at GNC.

I found out early on I had to litteraly sip milk just a tad a day. I love it so much. Eventually I could drink some. I still only do a 1/2 cup per day and I do that to get my calcium and Vitamin D in. There still are times my pouch dont like it.
