Great checkup kath... I bet you just blew them away with how great you look. I have my annual on Wednesday and I'm curious to hear what my gyno has to say about my planned surgery. She's a big Jamaican woman who has struggled with her weight. She yo-yos and is always a different size each year. I think last time I saw her when pg with my son, she was on the South Beach Diet and had lost a bit of weight.

That is really great news. Congrats on a wonderful checkup. You know, I have not had a hot flash since my surgery either. I wonder why that is? I never bothered to even start taking the medication again after surgery.

I think hot flashes are onset by stress...and when I was carrying around all that extra weight, I was CONSTANTLY stressed...I'm too young to give up my meds....I'm not ready for some of the more unpleasant side effects of no estrogen!
