Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Bucky I am so sorry to hear that she lost her beloved pet. I know that this can be difficult. I wish that there were some wise comforting magical thing that I knew of to say, but all I can say is that I am sorry for her loss and hope that she pulls through it okay. Just try to be there for her as I am sure you are. Maybe letting her be exposed to that adorable grandbaby of yours might help to give her happiness and enjoyment. Good luck and tell her that we hope she is okay.

Hi Buckwheat,

We lost our dog a couple of years ago and we were just devestated. We actually had her cremated, and still keep her near.
It took a long time to get over the simple things like hearing her tail hit the floor in the morning getting out of bed, having her wait for me at the top of the steps when I come home from work, she was the neighborhood watch when we would go outside, she would just sit in the yard and watch...hehehe.
She loved to go in "daddy's truck", or go for ice cream, or anywhere really.
When our children left to go on with they're lives our Markie was our family who still depended on us.
She never complained, she never asked for money, she always had a kind wag or lick, and always, always loved us no matter what kind of mood we were in that day.
We have alot of pictures, some of which we still keep out, our neighbor gave us a plaque with her name on it., Telling stories especially funny ones help too.
Most of all going through the morning proces is sometimes the hardest.
I personally talked about her all the time, my husband tends to clam up and not say too much. All the same keeping the dogs memory alive is what I truly needed to do.
I have a little memory book of nothing but markie, and we still get it out to look at., and still cry. We did alot of crying. SNIFF
Be patient. Your friend needs this time to miss her pet. She will cry, probably alot!!!! A new puppy at this time is not a good plan, we have yet to replace markie, she will never be replaced.
I hope you can help your friend get through this. Like any loss, it will get better as time goes on.
You are a good friend to be so concerned.
A friend of ours made a donation to a local humane Society and they sent us a card with markies name on it, in memory of that donation. That was such a nice gesture.
As dog lovers I can obviously relate to her loss.

Keep in touch and let me know how things are going...it will be OK.

Hugs to you, and keep well. A big hug to your friend too...I know how she is feeling.

ROBBIN

I think Robbin has a great idea. It will not bring her pet back but donating money to the local shelter is a great idea, it will show your friend that you care about what she cares about. She will appreciate it. Send her a card and let her know how much you love her and just listen to her. You obviously care about your friend and being there for her will mean a lot.
You are a good friend Bucky!!!

The losss of a dog..... oh Robbin reading your post made me cry. I have lost 2 dogs, one little fur ball I had for 18 years, I even took a day off work to grieve and I would turn around expecting to see her and she wasnt there.
The other dog was my husbands, a cattle dog, we lived in the city, but Jody took so good care of my little 18 year old dog that Jody that it was uncanny. Jody later died of Cushings disease and again I took a day off work. Luckly my Boss was a dog lover so she understood.
i now have a 4 pound chihuahua, named Bailey and cant imagine my life without him. Please tell you friend how very sorry, I am
