|  Got my Surgeons appt scheduled Well... they were right.. it was 4-6 weeks after my last scheduled appt. Four weeks almost exactly. I have an appt for August 8th at 8 am to meet with my surgeon. If you recall from an earlier post, they're backed up because one of the surgeons has cancer and is out for chemo and radiation until January.. God Willing. So, after that appt and final approval, it's another 4-6 weeks until surgery which would put it around mid to late September.

| Hey Babs, I didn't realize you were going through the same pracitice I am. I know a few others on here that also went through Highland. I also have Dr. Johnson. Well, that's great that the surgery date is scheduled first.. that much sooner I can get on the calendar. Thanks for letting me know that.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Martha I too went thru Higland and I was like Babs and once I met with Dr. Omalley I went down the hall and the schedule girl gave me date even before I was approved with my insurance company. I got the call about a week later that my date was a definte and I was confirmed with my insurance company. Can I ask who is sick at the practice. I know there are 3 suregons in the practice..Dr. Omalley, Dr. Johnson and Dr. Omalley. I just went back in about 8 weeks ago and had to have a hernia surgery and Dr. Omalley did it. But I didnt know there was any hold ups with stuff???
