Talking 250#: 4 mos Post Op....100# to go!!! whhooo hooo!!

OK!!!
Today is such a fun celebration...and a bit odd that it all would fall on my 4mos. post op anniversary!!

I stepped on the scale this morning...not expecting any weight loss b/c I've only lost about a pound and a half for the last 3 weeks....and :::BOOM:::!! I was down another 1.8#'s allowing me to sit at an even 250#'s!!!

Exactly 100# to go....I love that....I've been waiting to commemorate being at 250# and only 100# to go. I've also finally wearing the 2x version of those saggy jeans I've had my monthly picture taken in for the last few months! (lol....)
I think that I'll get my monthly taken in these...as well as the saggies....I know you all want to see the new monthly of my BUTT!!! LOL

So....later today I'll get Russ to photograph me on the stoop in front of our new home...and post them asap.
FYI....our internet is going to be connected sometime next Wednesday...I'm soooo excited! No more libraries...bookstores or cafe's!!

WHOOO HOOO! all around celebration....isn't it a beautiful day??!!

OH!!! guess what else?? I got the medical insurance total in the mail yesterday....90.5K for my surgery.....can you believe it!! I was shocked....but soooo thankful I was approved....I can't believe I've lost 83.5#....in 4 MONTHS!!

......amazed......

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Woohooo, congratulations, Deborah!!
But, um....90.5K?!!!!!! WOW...I thought it was around 30K something, from what I heard...or is it just for the surgery, and all other costs add to it, I guess, like nuts and psychs and things like that...
Hmmmm...some food for thought...

((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) on your wonderful weightloss!!

Thumbs up Yeppiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii yes way to go girl!

Woooooooooooo hooooooooooooooo.
I'm very proud of you, you the sweetiest tiwn sister

OMG 100lbs to go??? I can picture you there!!!!!!!!! woww I'm very thrilled for you honey!!
Hey listen I don't want to see you in the old baggie pants, wear the new ones!!!! let's see the little booty of yours hehehhehehe shake them for my sake heheheheh you're so funny

I love you honey and looking forward to chat with you very soon.
Today I went to my surgeon for a check up and also get a report about my history to take it with me to England in case I need it over there!

He was not so much impressed with my WL!!! I didn't feel the enthusiasm, to be quite honest I don't care!! He was like hmmm 4 kilos a month that's not bad!!!!

He told me something new that all the old gastric banding patients who switched to the by pass it has been noticed that their WL gets slower with their new system. I think that their body have already been in the starvation mode so their blood chemistry and the rate of metabolism will be slower. DocSanae you can explain this better than me!

He gave me 6 injections for vitamin B, and multi vitamins called stresstabs mine is with Zinc not vitamine B.

He refused to do the blood works, he thinks it's too early, he recommended to do them after 6 months!!! what's the harm if I do them now I'll be gone for one year!!!!!!!!!! he said no. His reasons are beyond me Duh!

This surgeon he's backward minded, I will follow up with Doc's in UK.

New information that I got today that people who had WLS like us will lose 50% of their excess weight in the 1st 9 months and 1/2 of the remaining weight in the next 9 months.
So in my case if I'm 90kg over weight I will lose 45kg in the 1st 9 months then 22.5kg in the 9 months later so in a matter of ~ year and a half I'm expected to lose 68kg!

The honeymoon stage is scaring me!. I'm exsercising almost everyday I try to eat right I want to lose as much as I could before I go to England because I'm afraid that I won't have the ladies sport facilities over there I cannot workout in mixed GYM it would be very tough for me to workout wearing my hejab and covered head to toe!!

I'm very excited for you and Russ, yes I can't imagine that we are twin sisters even with our spouses. You and Moe are mirror images as house wifes hehehehe! OH I forgot to tell you that one of the philipino sisters has decided to travel back home for one year and come back when I finish my studies and return back to Kuwait. In fact I liked the idea coz I know the british embassy will have trouble releasing both of them, One Visa will be a lot of kissing asses if you know what I mean! Duh!

Moe and the kids will come with me so with one nanny/domestic helper he will have to stay with me there all the time hehehhe I like black mailing feels so cool.
I told him do you wanna leave the kids a lone with her?!! there are so many ugly stories about these philippino's leaving their original employers and escape with whomever seeking imigration. Just imagine my kids left over at the house alone all by them selves when she's gone God forbids!! what do you want me to do??!! and he was like yes you're right.
I can understand it's tough for hubby he'll stay idle for a year no career no motivation no salary no nothing!

Ehhhh, pray for us may Allah makes it easy for us.

Enough yapping, I love you Dabdoobah (hehehhe I gave new nick name) and will talk to you soon.

Congratulations again :*

Talking Thanks sooo MUCH!!

I know it is funny how Moe and I are in the same boat....I am thrilled that he and the children are going with you....YOU ARE DOUBLY BLESSED....as I said before, we are seeing with Russ' school this is very uncommon.

I'm also glad that he will be there to "watch out" for Jude and Dana....sweet babies.....

Well...you must be in the process of preparing for your big move. Will you keep the house there?? As it is a family house? So you will not have to store or completely move from the home?

Well....I've been here at the Bagel Factory nearly all day....my computer was "acting up" and I had to have Dell support....and finally had to reload the operating system.....whew! What a pain....but, Russ and 'Bella did come here for lunch...now I'm going home to them.....I miss them!! (It's Saturday...our day one of our weekend...and the whole day has been wasted away from my Love.- )

So....I'm off for now...thanks for writing back...we will catch up next week.
I'm praying for you to our God....and Love you MUCH!!!

You have bypassed any of my expectations. I can only hope to get to your toal on my 4 month anniversary. What a wonderful feeling no matter where we get to right?????
I AM HAVING A HARD TIME REMEMBERING WHEN I WEIGHED LOWER THAN 250.....HMMMMMM.
I was stuck for awhile again....hopefully i will get down a bit before i hit another flat spot, hehehe.

Have a great weekend what is left of it.

Hanadi good luck to you over there, you seem very busy.

Love to all,

Deb I am so excited for you. How thrilling is it to reach that stage? I am so happy to know that you are gonna be on more often soon. Hanadi, I am so glad to know that Moe and the kids and a helper are accompanying you to England. That will be so much better for you to not be separated from them so much. I am glad to hear such happy news from both of you.
