Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Almost done I wanted to let you ladies know that I am almost done. I have Friday and Monday to go yet then I am finished. It is almost as scary to finish as it was to start. I have been having a lot of feelings that I found on the breast cancer site they call post traumatic stress (which I guess I only applied to soldiers) and apply it to this situation and those who are coming off chemo as well. I read that back a while ago and thought how can that be isnt it just good that your radiation is over but now I see what they mean. I am worried that it didnt help or it will show up someplace else and I see that these feelings are normal and will have to work through them just like I did with my WLS.I have not been on much because I have had a hard time the past couple weeks with more bad days then good ones. Next time you have lobster think of me cause I tell ya that is what I look like(then add the shreading skin and you got me pegged). I am hanging in though if it were not for my hubby I dont know where I would be. I tell him all the time how much I love him. And Becka I will be getting you the pics I just have not been on my puter in days.. And I wont be here that long now..lol So have a nice weekend ladies and I wanted to let you know I am almost done BTW they give me a certificate of compleation at the end but the jury is still out on how I feel about that one..lol.. I will let ya know..sheesh..

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I just gave a class on PTSD to my office and it is very real in many different situations. Cancer treatment being high on the list. Talk to you Psych doc at either your surgery or oncology center. They should be able to help you through it. Looking back I am sure I developed it when I had the boss from hell. After a year of his torture they fired him. Every time I saw a man with short greyish/white hair my stomach turned to knots. I still can't look at Donald Rumsfeld or Howard Dean, but then again, their might be other reasons for that! LOL Hang in there and definately talk to someone.
