Talking Bikram Yoga Highly recomended...

OMG I have not felt this good in soo long. I have taken 5 classes in a row since Saturday and I am feeling so good. I the first couple of days i was very sore but now im just feeling good....Its a very intense yoga class, in a heated room for 90 minuites but i am already feeling the benefits.....just wanted to share..

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer as much as i am....i am getting a little worried though because its almost over.....i hate winter and dread the cold winter months..

xoxoxo

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

We have one here, I haven't gone cause the studio and carpeted and that's just gross. All these people sweating all over the rugs and boy do you sweat, like drip out of every part of your body. My chiro practor swears by it, I just can't get by the germs, at my place anyhow. Id love to try it somewhere though.

Thumbs up

Getting ready to go again tonight...this will be my sixth class in a row..im so addicted.
I have my own mat and towels that I bring so I am not worried about other peoples sweat. This place I go to is very clean, room is cleaned down in between classes and aired out.....
It gives you such an amazing feeling when you are all done...again its intense and you go at your own pace ...you do the poses the best you can, eventually you are able to do them .....

What is Bikram Yoga?

Bikram Yoga is a series of 26 classical hatha yoga postures and 2 breathing exercises conducted in aheated room.

The medical benefits of regular practice are proven and remarkable.
The series of postures is highly therapeutic for people of all fitness levels. No matter what shape you are in, you will be sure to benefit from Bikram Yoga.

Is Bikram Yoga right for you?

Bikram Yoga is known for its healing benefits. In its strict adherance to the principles of classical Hatha Yoga, Bikram has devised a series which scientifically targets every cell of the body, creating a revitalized, strong, lean, balanced and healthier body.

In achieving these benefits, through daily practice, you will improve your ability to concentrate, mentally and emotionally get yourself more balanced and be able to enjoy a more vibrant life.

You may have heard that Bikram Yoga is challenging. It is. But anyone, regardless of fitness level, will reap the benefits of practicing simply by trying your best, working hard both mentally and physically for 90 minutes and working in the right way.

NOTE: Muscles aren’t the only beneficiaries of heat. Higher temperatures improve the function of the nervous system, meaning that messages are carried more rapidly to and from the brain or Spinal Chord. Warm muscles are more elastic and are less susceptible to injury. Warmer temperatures produce a fluid-like stretch that allows greater range of motion. Cold muscles don’t absorb shock or impact as well and aren’t stretched as well so they tend to get injured more easily.

Boy, I was trying some of the demo exercises on the video that Hanadi shared and boy, talk about a workout!! I can't imagine doing this for an hour in 100 degree temp.!! You go LisaMarie!! I had such a hard time steadying my one leg while raising the other in the air--is this something you got better at doing the more you did it? I found I wiggled back and forth on the one leg. I really think I would love to do this if I knew my leg would get used to a certain position with practice. I have a pilates machine that I use and love--it also stretches out the body. I had to go to physical therapy for a few weeks and the therapist said I had great flexability for a 58 yr old woman, I was so happy to hear that--and I have fibromyalgia too!! I must admit losing this weight and exercising has done so much for my body. I told my DH sometimes I feel like I don't have Fibromyalgia anymore, I know once you get it you have it forever but thank God all I have been doing has helped keep it at bay.
