Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  I got Shingles???? I thought I pulled a muscle in my right shoulder, arm, and chest, underarm, for almost 2.5 weeks I haven’t been feeling good. And haven’t worked out. Well bumps came up on my shoulder last Friday; my friend’s husband said its poison oak. Well I was treating for the poison oak. When i went to my surgeon Tuesday, i showed him. He said it was Shingles. I WENT WAHT??????????? (BTW he was happy with the weight loss and he is putting the light in, to see if i have a peptic ulcer in my pouch and if so he wants to go in a burn it. More surgery.) So yesterday i went to PCP YEP!!!! Thats what i have. She said if your body gets down, you have alot of stress, all combined, you get them. She once you get chicken pox it never goes away its stay in you, until something happened like real sick, stress, etc, then it has a party with your nerve’s. So I told her I just had WLS, and she goes there ya! Go that is the cause. So needless to say, i'm not feeling good, and now i know why, it's not a pulled muscle. I have some patches to put on it, and some meds, and some pain meds. She told me to get rest LOLOLOL. I told her i raise my grandson. I asked her about Cameron and the family, she said only Cameron can get chicken pox, but since he just had his shots like 4 months ago, he will be ok. The family will be find i cant give shingels to anyone. Dude this stuff hurts, she said i'll be in pain for a few more weeks, and the bumps have another week yet....GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!! My left side is starting to get sore, i hope its not moving. |

| Super Moderator | If he's been vaccinated, he'll be fine. If not, so long as the discharge in the pox don't get on him, it should be okay. The virus is in the discharge, so be careful with it.

| Super Moderator | Ummm, I'm not a pediatrician, and my kids have long since grown (though not flown), I'd say, kinda skitterish and yet tired, because they'd start getting a fever...well, sort of like when coming down with a bad cold. I hope you get the idea. (((((HUGS)))))

So while i have Cameron in the day time no pain pills, so thats why i have the patches.Cameron calls the patches mammal's, BIG BANDADE. LOL He now has a bandade on his back and arm like me LOL..... tooo cute. |
