I know I posted this a few months ago and It was great because we all got to tell a little about ourselves. Sometimes its hard to place faces with long profiles. Just a little about yourself that you would like to share. I will start.....Hello NY, my name is LisaMarie. I just celebrated my 35th birthday this past July. I am the mother of 4 beautiful children ages 14, 11, 4 and 3. I am married for 12 years next week to the man I have been with since I was 15!!! I am a registered nurse and just recently returned to work 2 months ago. I had my weight loss surgery last Halloween and have lost 85 pounds. I had my surgery here in NY at St Vincents Hospital. I have to say it was the best thing I ever did for myself and my family. I am now wearing a size 4 jeans, I am 127 pounds at 4'11". I have so much energy and feel so good. I have also made many friends on this board, some of which I have been able to meet up with and hang out with. I hope to meet many more. I havent posted a whole lot lately just really busy with life but I will be around much more when the weather starts to get cold....... It is just an amazing journey. This surgery has changed my life! Ok whos next????

| WLS Master Guru |  Hello. I am a New Yorker. I am mother to 3 great kids, who take turns driving me crazy. I am a teacher and run my own home tutoring business as well. I had my surgery last year on August 10th, and have lost 116 pounds. Today for the first time in more than 14 years, my scale registered below 150..............I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!! I have found a second home on this board, and will miss spending time here when school opens in a couple of weeks. S

If anybody wonders where is Kuwait? it's in the Arabian Peninsula next to Saudi Arabia and Iraq. I work as Snr. Geophysicist for almost 9 years. Married for 4 1/2 years and a mother of 2 gilrs, Judy 3 years, Dana 8 months. I have done the by pass in last April and have lost ~30kgs (63lbs). The coming few days will transform my life to a very crazy one, since I will be back to schools desks again after 10 years from B.Sc. graduation. I will be leaving to Leeds, UK for my masters in Geophysics. ( I know it sounds scary, but this is what I love to do!) I owe this support group a bunch, they are my back bone! Height: | My name is Janae. I am turning 27 in October, and will also reach my 8 year wedding anniversary that month. I have two kids, one boy and one girl. My hubby is in the Air Force and we are stationed at McGuire AFB, NJ. I had Lap RNY on April 4th 2006 in Philidelphia and have lost 84 lbs so far. I started out wearing a size 26 and now am down to a size 16. This surgery has helped to save me and show me that I am worth more than I thought. I love all my girls on here, and the guys are cool too...lol.  Janae |

I had RNY on 3/14/06. To date I have lost somewhere around 65 lbs. I don't weigh myself very often. I don't post here very often, but I am trying to get better. I am the mother of one beautiful daughter, Isabella who is 3yrs old. I am married to the man of my dreams and we just celebrated our 7 yr. anniversary. We also just moved to NY from TX, so my hubby could go to Optometry school. I have been a designer for 15yrs, and have been doing that freelance since my daughter was born in 2003. I had the Lap RNY Gastric Bypass in Dallas, TX - April 19th, 2006 and to date I've lost 89.2#!!! I am pretty pumped about the success of the surgery...but realizing the journey is long...and this is not a "cure all" it is an amazing tool...and it is MY responsibilty to use it well. If you glean from the success stories here on this board...you will learn soooo much - I have! This journey been the most amazing thing I've ever done...for the first time I can see the BRIGHT light at the end of the tunnel!! I started at size 32 and am now am 20/22...and a 2x!! I feel better than I have in years!!!
