I know that you can not lose 17lbs a month for ever but last week I lost 0 and the week before 3 and then 2. I weigh myself once a week. I am totally bummed it has slowed. Just had to say that.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Please don't get discouraged -- I hit a plateau 1 year out that lasted about 4 months where I played around with the same 3 lbs...up and down with those same darn pounds!! I stayed the course, went to support meetings, continued my exercise regime...then suddenly I started dropping the weight at a rate of 2-5 lbs per week for awhile...I couldn't figure out the reason for it all! All I can say Saturngirl, is PERSEVERE!!! You WILL come off that plateau, you WILL see those pounds come off, and you WILL be so elated when it happens it'll re-motivate you! Best of luck to you!

I'd say you are doing totally normal.
Your body needs to catch up some and realign.
The loss will pick up again, you are still only 4 months out.

Keep doing what you know is right, plateaus are so frustrating, but normal. Many times it is not the numbers on the scale moving, but the numbers on the size of our clothes!! Go put on a pair of your before surgery pants and have a good laugh!
