I going to post pictures I took yesterday. I got dressed up for a family wedding and felt like I looked good. Saw the pictures and burst into tears  . Maybe I just dont see myself the way I should but I feel like I look huge! I am still 169. Have not gained any or lost any more either. I just am so sad. Tell me what you think. Thanks

I think you look GREAT. As people have mentioned, you have great shoulders and arms. I'll be honest though and say, you're probably smaller than even that dress shows because I think Plaid doesn't do anyone any favors. That's just my opinion though. Having said that.. you look beautiful and I think it shows in those pictures, that you felt good about yourself. Your mind will catch up.
I was talking to my sister saturday who has just lost 63 lbs with weight watchers. She said that even in pictures, she sees herself as big still, but when she holds up the size clothes she's in now (4's and 6's) up next to the size 20's she WAS wearing.. that's when she realizes how much weight she lost and how small she is. I havent' seen her yet, she lives in Georgia and I'm in NY. Hold up some of your "fat" clothes up to what you're wearing now and you'll be surprised. It's hard to wrap around your brain how much smaller you are, I'm sure.
YOu look gorgeous... don't let that head of yours tell you anything different.

Why is it so hard for us to "see" the difference? Last time I lost this much weight I felt terrific about myself. Didn't care if anyone else thought I looked good or not. Of course I was 11 yrs younger but still. I "see" the smaller clothes and can't imagine that they will fit me and then they do but it is still hard to "see" and appreciate being slimmer, for me anyway. Thanks every one for the compliments, they do help!  I do like the way my shoulders looked, not sure about the arms because to me they are very flabbie and hanging. How does one go about improving their self esteem?

BTW that dress was $4.97 at JC Penny's on Friday. That is why I bought it, now that I am not working in offices I don't dress up much so I thought I got a good deal.
