I went for my 8 month check up yesterday. The dr said my weight loss is right where it should be. My blood work all came back great. But I have a large bulge right under my rib cage. She said 2 inside stiches had broke lose and would have to be fixed as soon as she could get me in. She said I would be off work for 4 to 6 weeks and would have to stay in the hospital over night. I'm really worried has anyone else had this problem..

Do you mean a hernia? Or did a couple of staples of the staple lines that make the pouch breaK? A hernia in one form or another is not rare. Staple lines do break, but that happens less often. In any case, since your surgeon says she will fix it ASAP, I don't think you have anything to get worried about.
