We both had our surgery in JUNE 2005, and started with very similar weights. As you can see we lost at different rates. SO dont get discouraged if your weight is different then another on the board who had surgery near you. Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  alright I thought I would add to this a bit to make it more interesting. If you look at our totals, you are only seeing the grand total. Here are my totals for each month vs. grand total. I started my journey weighing 313lbs. I had to do a 7 day liquid diet and lost 15 lbs doing that. The day of surgery I weighed 298lbs. DATE... I GIVE shelley alot of credit hanging with me and not getting blues from some of the months that i had huge losses....but she has done good! NICE and steady and even! JUST wanted to show how it two different rates of weight loss we all get to some really ideal sizes in good time! hugs friends.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | If you all don't know, Lisa was my huge inspiration to keep going those months that I would loose nothing or very little. I would always challenge myself the next month to loose more. Lisa has done such a wonderful job being so supportive. To all, just don't forget DO NOT COMPARE YOURSELF. Everyone is different and don't get blue or upset. Listen to your body. If you are not loosing by the scale, take out that measuring tape and check your inches. For myself, the months I did not loose much on the scale, I was loosing tons in inches.

Tell you the truth I will be in another stress level in the coming few days but the best thing is that I will be apart from my beloved scale hehehhehe so I won't have that stress maybe for a year, but now I'm happy that I will be able to weigh myself in any drug store in UK. Most probably I will do that on my monthly anniversary to keep on track. I love ya all a bunch I wish if I have another 24 hours in my day to be able to access this website and read/reply to all these lovely posts. Lat night I joined at midnight to post what did I eat!
