Red face the mind is a strange thing...

i was looking at my food for today and i couldnt help but think it seemed low in calories and what not. so being the greedy 'fat chick' trapped in a smaller chick's body, i tried to eat something else ontop of what i planned this evening. i tried to eat and peanut butter on toast sandwich. i thought i was hungry. maybe i wasnt hungry, just dwelled on eating something else. i ate it. puked my brains out. and now i am sitting here once again confused.

i cannot figure out for the life of me how an adult can LIVE off off less than 1000 calories per day? NOW, i am nervous. now, over a year post op i am in a state if panic wondering what i have done??? am i killing myself slowly? its like all of a sudden i have lost my mind and i cant figure out what to eat, or how much, or if i am eating enough...am i losing it? someone smack me. i wont press charges

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I get this way some times....it seems like there is nothing I can eat...I look around, wanting to focus on protein, and everything seems BAD!!! I think the tool will work as long as we use it and stick to plan....anything outside of plan could have consequences, which is why I selected this surgery over others. I needed something to keep me in line.

Focus on your plan...protein first and keep the water going and you will be fine!

18 months out isn't all that far out. You'll still be trying to chart your course, and still trying to get the hang of things.
Yup, stick to the basics even as you expand your range of foods.

it IS very overwhelming at times, and it is OK to be confused. this is a great place to get ideas and support. just remember...one day at a time. if youlook at the long term all at once it is enough to freak you out. you are doing fine.

Hun life is overwhelming and sometimes things just crash in on us. I do know I read an article about a experiment done on rats or mice that they fed them a very lean diet just enough cals for them to use and believe it or not those rodents lived longer then their counterparts that ate a normal diet. I remember this because I have spent a lot of years eating under 1000 cal a day just to maintain being fat while my thyroid was really bad over the years and reading this article stuck in my mind over the past few years. So I am hoping that it also goes for people. Cause we are deff in the lower fed rodent group..
