Today hubby and I have been married 35 years, wow does that time ever fly, where did 35 years go. We are just as much in love now as we were 35 years ago and more so. We have been threw alot of sad times but the good times out weighed the bad. I think raising our children was the hardest, becasue he looked at things different than I did. He was raised different than I was and we both tried to carry that into our children, so that was our conflict raising them. But we are very proud of our children and they all have good lifes and jobs. What is really nice they are all close to home now, with in 30 miles. Our daughter was in Fargo for a few years but she got a good job in our local hospitol and they moved close to home. We see them all alot and they are all precious to us and we have 2 grandchildren. Our daughter and her hubby are the ones with the children the boys and their spouses do not have any kids yet.
Then there where times when the money part got pretty tight. And we got threw those times too. All I can really say that our 35 years have been good years for us. My son-in-law asked my hubby, which was a joke, how many wifes did my hubby have and my son-in-law got a good one back, my hubby said 3 wifes so far, thin when we were first married and then the fat one and now the thin one that he has now, that sure was a good laugh for all of us. I am going to post a picture of hubby and me at my sons wedding, this way if someone missed the wedding post, then you can see what my hubby looks like. My hubby is so proud of me and tells me all the time that I did such a good job losing and that I am so skinny now. He loves to put his arms around me and can fold his hand behind my back. He also loves to pat my butt, since it is much smaller now. Life is getting so exciting for us and wow do we have lots of plans for next summer that we want to do. We had 35 wonderful years and looking forward to the next 35 years.

Thank you all. Spikey, my hubby is all the way western look, he has lots of cowboy boots and all of his shirts, I mean ALL of his shirts are western. Absolutly no buttons on his shirts. His pants are all blue jean except for a few pairs of dress slacks that are western cut and his suits are also western cut. We never had any horses but always cattle and he is a cowboy all the way. He also has some really nice cowboy hats too. Now we have two horses on the yard and they are our son and wifes two horses. They got them as colts and had them at her parents place all summer but will be here all winter and they just might have them here all the time from now on. They are such pretty horses and well behaved too. Maybe next year they are going to take them to a trainer and have the trainer break them for riding. I mentioned to hubby that we should get a minature horse for a pet and he said no way, he is done with animals. but who knows, he might give into me. He said I have a dog and plenty of cats to play with. I am afraid our dog will not make the winter, he has such bad arthridis on his feet. He is up that age already. So next summer I want a little puupy, we were looking for one this summer, but it is getting to close to winter for a little puupy. My hubby wants a white spitz puppy and wow are they hard to find here in north dakota. Our dog is part spitz, and we had three other spitzes before this one that we have now. They are really smart dogs, our dog is really smart and he knows once the garden is dug up that he cannot go into the garden and is so good and stays out when I work in it all summer, but once I start to pick cucumbers then he knows he can come in and sit beside me when I am picking cucumbers. When I water the garden in the fall he stays out and the only time he comes in is when I pick cucumbers. I am getting side tracked, but hubby is all cowboy.
