Default good day....bad day...

We went to Six Flags yesterday....of course, the GREAT points:

1) Walked around out there for 9 hours...felt great...no pain, was able to stand for long periods in line...fit on ALL the rides, no questions asked
2) never broke a sweat, my endurance & smaller frame allowed me to really enjoy the park!

the NOT so great points:

1) amusement park food SUCKS
2) even after all that exercise, I got up this morning up 2 pounds...how does THAT even happen?!?!?!
3) I kept pouring on the water, but did make a couple of questionable food choices (you can't go to Six Flags and NOT have a PINK THING, right?)

DDH said I did GREAT...he was so proud of me able to run around like a kid all day....he said I made good food choices, given my options & that whatever calories I took in shouldn't matter, as we walked ALL day and got plenty of exercise.

All in all, I feel pretty good about the day. I messed up the 5 day pouch reset (Sorry guys, I fell off the wagon)...but hubby said I don't need to lose any more anyway....I was down 2 pounds from the reset...and basically, I'm back where I was when we started the thing...kinda sucks, as I endured the 2 days of liquids & sacrificed eating those 2 days without a hitch....now I feel like I did it for nothing....

Today is a new day....I'm on track and it's ALL good!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Forgot to add...we stopped at one of those things where they guess your weight or age for a prize...I picked weight....I had to climb on these HUGE scales in front of a crowd....she missed guessing my weight BIG time...I won a cute little Scooby Doo stuff animal!!! Her scales confirmed me at 137 pounds!

I did it for a couple of reasons...to de-carb (I don't take in that many) and to support my fellow RR buds....I told hubby I woke up 2 pounds heavier and he said "GOOD!!!" lol.....I'm not really trying to lose any more...just stick with my plan and make the new eating habits a permanent part of my life!

If I were to guess I'd say salt is the culprit~~~

Sounds like a wonderful day ~ you'd have never done that guess the weight thing 2 years ago!!!!! Great Wow

Salt could be the culprit, or, you gained some muscles

You did an awesome job. I love Six flags....too scared to go on the rides in fear of not fitting on them.

You may have gained from all the water you took in but with so much exercise your body may hold on for a day or two....especially if the temp was warm. That happened to me in July at Disney. I was sure I would drop like 3-5 pounds that week but didn't...came home and 3 days later had dropped like 6 pounds.

Congrats Kath- I can't wait to go back and conquer 6 Flags! I walk around Disney now with a big ole turkey leg- I love them and it's all protein! Not sure if 6 Flags has them though!
