Default Can You Believe It......Me???

Well, everyone hang on to their seat. I fixing to make an announcement...... I got up and weighed this morning and I was down 4 POUNDS! And you better believe I am doing the happy dance. ... I couldn't believe it. I guess uping my water and trying to watch my carbs has paid off.

Also, I went to a weight watchers meeting at my church last night. My mom wanted to join and she wanted me to go with her for support, so I did. I sat there last night almost tempted to join to try to keep me focused and balanced on losing these last pounds. What does everyone think about that or do you think it would be a waste of money???

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

YAY!!!!! You go girl...keep pushing that water and watch the fat/carbs...and YOU WILL LOSE!!!

I don't know about weight watchers....great support system, but if I remember correctly, their plan would be more food than we could eat....it's up to you....you KNOW what your plan is...but going for support/supporting your mom couldn't hurt...!

Christy-congrats on your 4lb loss. Thats awesome! Your hard work paid off.

Thats funny you mention WW because yesterday I looked at weight watchers online program. you log your food and helps you stay on track. I was considering it, but like you, wondered if I was wasting my money since I know I cant eat all the points. But if it helps keep me in check, it is worth it I think.

Kathy and Nikki, that was my concern.... knowing that I couldn't possibly get in the points for a day. I have done WW years ago, so I may just try to do it by myself without actually paying the $$$ just to keep me on track.

Shannon, thanks for all your support.

Congrads on the 4 pounds lost. I would also say stick to what you are doing becasue it worked for you. I guess I feel things out that I read on here and try it and a little differnet until it fits me and what works for me. Just like me and my daughter and she eats things that work for her and I eat a few things different then my daughter. But that works for her and my ways work for me. But as far as major eating we both eat the same way and we get our carbs from different foods. But I think there is nothing wrong with going to weight watchers to support your mom and at the same time you might get some really good ideas from them and maybe can incorporate them into our way of eating. You could maybe throw some of the hints our way. Congrads again on the four pounds, you are doing great and that must have been an awesome feeling this moring when you are down four pounds.

Congratulations!!!
As for WW, you could ask your nut or your surgeon about it. There probably will be some points that you need to consider, and do differently, because you had surgery.
Just supporting your mother can help you, too, though.

Yippee Skippee!!! Way to go Christy, this is huge!!!!!!! As for WW, not only is there more food than you can eat, they tend to be on the higher side of carbs too. I can never control the eating when I do their new system. Too many carbs and Jeanne is off and running.....
