but I'm trying to gain some weight....!!! I have looked at some of my pics over the past few months, and it looks like I may need to put a few pounds back on....HOW SCARY IS THAT....fighting for all these months to lose...then realizing when to put the brakes on and go the other direction... I don't want to gain a lot, but I think a few pounds back on would look better....I'm slowly increasing my calorie count....still eating VERY healthy and making the best choices...taking it one day at a time.... |

I was wondering about that. You look great, but at 5'9' and only 138 with lots of extra skin I was wondering if you might feel you're getting too thin. I know you said people were telling you to stop 30-40 lbs ago. It's such a mind blower to think about actually gaining weight on purpose and even tougher to do it in a controlled manner. I wish you luck. I think Kenya struggled with this as well. Maybe if you PM her she may give you some pointers if she gets your message.

(((((HUGS))))) If you've been below 1000 kcals, raise it up slowly to 1200. You probably will maintain your best weight at around 1200-1400 kcals, I think.

Kath I agree, I think at your height you look better in the 150 pound range, but thats just me. I know I have been told lately that I should gain a little, I dont think so I still want to lose 10 pounds but we'll see. You are doing amazing girl

Probably a good idea to do so before plastics if you go that route. I am 5'7 and weighed 137 pounds when I weighed in for my first check up with the pregnancy of my first son....at that point people were telling me to gain weight and that I looked unhealthy and I had never really been heavy....so....I think you will look great with just a little extra weight back on. PS asked what I wanted to do with the weight....I told him I'm bouncing with 2-4 pounds...he said it was no big deal... FYI...I'm about 5 feet 7.5 inches...I used 5'8'' on my stats because I was in between....I'm not 5'9''!!! |
