I'm 43 and am basically at the younger end of the spectrum also. There are a couple younger than me but for the most part, a lot of the members are a bit older than me. It's unfortunate that you went on a night when the speaker didn't really apply to you in that his gym isn't near by. Maybe you got some ideas from him.. and opportunity to find something similar near where you live maybe. We have guest speakers from time to time but not all the time. Next month, one of the nutritionists will be there to speak. I'll be 7 days out of surgery and am hoping to go. I carpool with 2 others I've met on this journey that live near me, so one of them could drive while I tag along.
