I have a couple hummingbird feeders in the back yard...a big one in the far end, and a little one attached to the window right by my head here. Only the brave hummings come here because they have to come below the level of the patio cover to reach it. but it is cool when they do because they are so pretty.

So this morning I filled the feeders with fresh food.

The Santa Ana winds are driving dry winds all over the SoCal area, and I am sure you have all heard of the fires, which are all downwind from us at the moment. But I guess the local birdies are thirsty, because they are getting drinks out of my humming feeder!

So cute and what great pix!! I'm in Orange County and the sky is filled with smoke and ash. The sun is orange. The poor people that are having to evacuate and losing their homes! My thoughts and prayers are with them!

It may not be a humming bird but it is beautiful. May God protect those who are losing their homes and are close to the fires.
