Default Well in 3 weeks I will be in surgery

Yes a short 21 days from now I will be in surgery. My god this month is really going fast. Today I have Preop and blended diet review, They say they are going to show us how to properly blend food. Hopefully my weight will go down some more. I was really nervous that my surgeon would cancal my date if I got sick. I found out differently the other day. He said unless I had a fever and other symptoms It would not be canceled, and if that did happen it would just move it to the following week because he has 1 appt available each week for such cases. I guess I am with a really great program. Im happy with my surgeon and have confidence in him. Nervous little buttterflys are starting in my stomach. I think im starting to get nervous, but then again i could be nervous that I will gain weight. Who knows! I think ill have to take some destressing classes for the next few weeks!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Talking Oh Jess!!!

It's pretty exciting...
The week b/4 my surgery I got a cold...or the flu...or something....AHHH was I nervous that they were gonna cancel my surgery! I had a fever at first...but then, just the stuffyness...and all the other stuff associated with my illness....thankgoodness no fever...and even though I had a cold...they still put me thru surgery....

UGH!!! I was thrilled.....
You will be tooo...this next 3 weeks is gonna FLY!!!
Prepare your house for after surgery....get your bags together for the hospital...don't forget your chapstick....
Get your protein ready for you....and all the crystal lite....and what ever you might want as your purees come around....There are some really great books out there...if you haven't read any yet....here are a few I love and have loved:Hope you find any or all of these helpful....in the first one there are some excellent post op early foods....and then in the cookbook....I STILL use the recipes...and there are some that are specifically for early post op. Check out the above links...they will take you to where you can buy the book on Amazon.com...there you can also "preview" the book...that's what led me to buy the cookbook.

ENJOY...and get ready for this exciting adventure!!

I really cant believe how fast its been, It still feels like just yesterday was the first consult. Tomorrow my temp starts at work. So I will not be online till after work my coworker was like how did you get through this so fast, I have a friend that is still waiting, I told him it was a combo of great insurance and great doctors. I would definitly recomend this practice to anyone I would meet. Yesterday I went to my blended diet review. They told us that the blended diet had to be as smooth as apple sauce. I think Ill probally just buy some baby food and eat that along with low fat creamy soups. They also went over what will happen during pretesting and the day of surgery. Im so close yet still so far away. Im preparing my home for after surgery, getting everything cleaned up. I have also started a grocery list of things that I want to buy. As for other things im sure Ill be hungry for a change from baby food, so If you know of any recipes I should try please send them my way.
