| 1st Post Op appointment
Hi I had my first post op appointment today with my surgeon (1.5weeks) . He said I was doing excellant, had a weight loss of 20lbs. He even gave me permission to slowly start introducing "soft" foods into my diet YIPPIE. He told me he woudn't need to see my for 4 weeks I was so worried he would tell me something was wrong..lol

| Oh Bren!!! This is sooo Fabulous!!! 20 POUNDS is sooo good....I think at this point I was somewhere around 16#.....goood for YOU!!!! Congratulations!!!! Take it slowly with your soft or puree'd foods....ok?? Try some shrimp or chicken salad...w/ light mayo...these worked really good for me....also...do you have a weightloss Surgery cookbook?? I love mine...b/c it has sooo many different type of recipes some that are great for exactly where you are...and then some that are adaptable for later!! Here it is with the link to Amazon...I really love it...and bought it second hand so it was cheap!! You can even peek inside the book from this link: Hope you enjoy!! Take it easy...don't go too fast...ok?? Good job on your weightloss. |

We are going grocery shopping in the next couple of days and I have been planning on making an artichoke/spinach dip and toasted rye bread as my treat for this grocery period. I don't know why, but I have been craving it hardcore lately. I have never made it myself so I hope it turns out good and that my tastebuds still like it. We'll see.
