 |  I broke my TOE!!!
Ok....I can't believe it, but I broke my baby toe on my left foot!!! I've broken my toe on my right foot one time....and it throbs and is painful....and WOW...there isn't anything they can do for you because the toe is soooo small. WELL.....LOW AND BEHOLD.... on our way to the Farmers market....I kicked my daughters stroller....or really just hit it in an awkward way....and it throbbed and now is BLACK AND BLUE!!!!! One of my best friends in Dallas is a podiatrist....and the last time I broke my right side....all she did was put me in a boot...and we taped it....so I called her...sent the digitals...and sure enough...it's broken!!!!  Back in the boot!!! I'm soooo bummed! |

You won't believe it, but I broke my little toe on my left foot too just last week. I didn't go to the doctor though. Everyone told me that there was nothing they could do for it anyway. The black and blue finally went away, but the pain and swelling is still there.It's awful! I didn't want to miss work, so I go to work and walk on it in steel-toed shoes for 12 hours a day. What a nightmare. I take lots of motrin. I fell down a couple of stairs on my butt, and my toe stop me in the doorway. What a clutz! | |

Cooling it might bring the swelling down a bit, just a thought.

OH GEEZ i did that bad in FEBRUARY
running to answer the phone while daycare
was napping...it sucked! AND that weekend
i had an affair and couldnt were my heals.
OF course for the next few weeks i kept
banging that toe over and over stunk!
BUT ur right there is nothing they
do for it medically!
MINE was pretty bruised and swollen
when i did it ...proly have a photo someplace.
I think i had even posted it on this board at the
time

Hey Deb. I sure hope ou feel better soon. YOur whole body hurts when your foot/feet hurt..........seems to affect everything.

you know I'm very bummed wearing winter shoes here, you know when you get used to the flip flops for so long time your foot get wider hehehe I dunno if this happens with everyone! My feet are squeezed now in the winter shoes/boots and my pinky hurts too Boohooo

Hope your feeling better today, but it probably hurts worse. I've broken my toes before also. Once when a cow stepped on it, and once stubbing it. Ice ice baby!
