 With the holidays so close and my DH layed off I have been oh so trying to keep the festive spirit going. But...as of yesterday my youngest sons girlfriend is calling it quits...... WHY at X-mas time???!!! 18 and 19 years old I know it probably wasnt forever but I am a mess, and my son is a total basketcase. I really liked her too. She lost her Mom a year ago and the rest of her family are a bunch of.....well you get it. Anyway She just is overwhelmed and I get that. I just feel so mad and sad. I cant even begin to tell you all how my son feels..... Tks for letting me vent kathy

Yes it is the theme of the season for most people I know and ourselfs for that matter. My DH and I gave up our presents to each other so we can afford to go to Canada for the holidays. My little one was worried she wouldnt get to see her grandparents and my DH's family till summer time. But we are all doing well health wise for now anyway and that is a blessing in its self expecially with me sheesh. He at least has his job yet but they cut all overtime months ago and we are so far behind in bills and with me not able to work I feel so bad most days. But I get time with him and his family and I can relax before my next surgery in January. So please look for the good things in your life right now and remember it will get better, it may take a while with our country being in such a state but it will we have to beleive that and work toward it.
