 |  Happy New Year with a new pic!
Hi all! I wanted to stop in and say hi. Christmas was wonderful and the new year started out on a positive note, now it's time to get back into the groove after the holiday hustle and bustle.
My PCP called me yesterday and told me that I need to have my potassium rechecked as it is low. If the second test comes back low, I will need to go on some kind of medicine. I had my first mammogram last week and that came back just fine. I really didn't think I had anything to worry about, but until I heard the good results, I was a bit uneasy.
I see my surgeon on Friday of this week and hopefully everything else will be just fine. I feel great and I am so happy.
My divorce is final, but there are still some things going on that have to be taken care of. I am stressed out about theses issues, but I am trying to deal with it the best I can and have a strong support system surrounding me and my daughter, so we will survive this.
I hope you all had a great New Year's Eve and may all your dreams come true in 2009!

Jo Ann, you look fab!! Say, did your DD get her cast off in time for New Year?
Incidentally, if you've been told you're low on potassium, start eating  it is potassium rich, and one or even half a should make a difference.

My daughter has her next appointment on Tuesday and should get her purple cast off. I am looking forward to her being able to be her little independent self again. Thanks for asking.
I will go and buy some bananas today and make sure I have at least one per day.
