Professor and ladies,
I know eaxctly what you guys are talking about! I lived in CO Denver one good winter back in 2002.
I love to remember those days because they were my honeymoon very nice loving memories, but I hate to remember the cold that peirces the bone I hate the COLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

girls I just came back from london and ohhh it was cold there I can't deny it but you know it didn't feel as cold as Kuwait! Their cold is the wet cold ours is dry it feels like a knife cut it hurts the cheeks I don't know how to describe it hehehe
Thank God winter is Bye-bying now. even in London, the night we left it was 9C
This morning in Kuwait it's 8C and very sunny! ahhhh I'm a sunny girl, it just feels so fresh when the sun is brigh and shining

Sounds balmy! This morning on the way to work it was -25 F. One of my students emailed me prior to our 8:00 AM class, telling me it was -22 F with a wind chill of -42 F and asking me if we were holding class. I answered that I knew it was cold, as I had experienced it on my way to work while he was still sleeping, and reminding him that the classroom is heated. (Kids these days!! Not tough like we were back in the '60s!!   )

LOL hehehe I remember I did the same trick for my Dr. but when we had sand storm and it was the day of the final exam?! I thought he'd reschedule the exam day for the next day but he didn't so I had to let my mom go speak to him and tell him that I was very sick till I got a faked medical leave and showed it to the univ board and re-did the final exam. Don't get me wrong I used to be an A student but as you said these days students are not so strong like you guys in the 60's hehehehe
I salute you and all teachers including my late professer Dr. Ali Altemeemi (God rest his soul, he passed away 3 years ago) he was the only sedimentologist in Kuwait. He was the reason I studied geoscience and not engineering. I owe him my professionalism and where I am in my career today

I live in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada and we are in the middle of a cold snap. It's -24 C with a windchill of -34 C. I grew up with Farinheight(sp?) and noe we use celcius and I don't know F anymore. I do know it is cold!!!!
