Unhappy Ouchhh!

Ok - so don't laugh - but does anyone else have the problem that their rear just hurts after being in a chair for a bit? I know I am losing all the padding down there, but sheesh. My office chair and longer car trips are KILLING me. It is right around the tail bone and though it is sore when I am sitting on it, it hurts even more when I raise up. It goes away quickly and feels much better after I move, but I need to know if this is normal. My DH is a rail and doesn't have the issue (asked over a long car trip this weekend). He looked at me like I was a little kooky actually. Anyone got any tips?

Signed,
Sore bum in IL

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I am interested in any thoughts also, as I am experiencing this too. Will this go away eventually?

Ditto for me. Car seats on long drives are not very comfortable anymore. Not only that, I have noticed if I sleep on my side for very long my hip hurts the next day. Never did that before. We are losing our cushion. I am glad to get rid of it though.

Just started happening to me! I have NO butt though...its a bad thing. I joke that I wish i could turn my head around and my feet because by rear is flat and my stomach looks like a butt!!! I just try to move every now and again. I type in my office chair for hours and switch positions often!

I still have trouble with my butt, My butt started to hurt just a few months out of surgery and I still have trouble sitting to long. I feel much better when I walk or lay but sitting gets to be painful sometimes. I swear all the padding melted off my butt. I never had a big butt in the first place and was always a flat butt, but now it completly disappeared and it hurts to sit. I thought with time it would get better, but it has not gotten better for me, so as far out as I am I still suffer from a sore butt, from sitting to long on my butt. I hope it starts to get better soon.

My thigh/hip/shoulder hurts when I lie on my side.

I was about to say my bottom doesn't hurt, but I just reminded myself of when I sit in DH's leather loungechair, I complain that all the stuffing is out of the seat. Maybe it is me!

Just another thing I complain about now also. Now everything hurts when I do anything to long.
