Question Unflavored Unjury Protein Powder??

Just wondering if anyone has every added some unflavored Unjury protein powder to a BIG pot of chili to up the protein. I am making a pot right now and thought about adding it but was afraid it would make it taste funny or clump up or something. If so how many packs can I add without making it noticeable?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Actually to be honest I am looking for something to do with all the packs that I smuggled out of the hospital when I had surgery. They were brought to me on my tray and I thought it tasted so yucky so I had my husband hide them in my bag so the nurses wouldn't know I hadn't used them.

I don't know what to tell you. I can't stand the taste of the "tasteless" Unjury. I would hate to waste a good pot of chili! Good luck!

Not sure, but I am interested in seeing what others say about adding any protein powder to chili and stuff like that.

the only problem with that is you cant add it to really hot liquid because it will coagulate. I like my chili hot ... lol you could let it cool then add it to what you are eating.

NO! unjury cannot be heated past a certain temp (like room temp really) or it clumps up. wait til ur gonna eat your portion, let it stand til it cools down a bit then sprinkle it on it.

unflavored tastes nasty alone because it isnt meant to be eaten alone LOL. you add it to things that are already rich in flavor for a protein boost. ex: choc pudding, shakes etc...

I was just hoping to add it to a large pot of chili so you couldn't taste the yuckiness of it. I added 1 pkg. to broth when in the hospital and gagged the rest of the day. Then I tried adding it to my SF/FF instant pudding after I got home from the hospital and it sucked to. Guess I will throw the junk away. LOL

Chili should be really high in protein (beans, meat) so maybe save the powder for another time. Like Kenya said, you wouldn't want it to clump up. Maybe put it in pudding or yogurt?? I have never had the stuff!
