Cool Job interview
I received an email asking me to come in for an interview for a health insurance company for a management position. My interview is for Thursday at 12:00pm. I have not had an interview in years. I hope I know what to say or how to present myself. Hell I don't even know what to wear. I am sweat pants, jeans, t-shirt kind of girl. My present job is business casual ( dress pants and nice shirt). I am also nervous because I wear a scarf. I don't have any money right now do to my husband up and leaving so I don't think I can buy an interview outfit. Maybe I'll ask my dad. Anyway, I am babbling cause I am excited. Wish me luck guys!

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.

Re: the scarf...if they inquire, ask the interviewer, "If I were a nun, would you be asking the same question?" then just say it is a religious and cultural decision. That'll shut them up.

Wear what you would be expected to wear if you had the job.

I just came back from the mall and looked at 4 different stores. Even on sale the cost of a suit was $100. Shoes were $40 and up. I am going to try to find some money to buy a nice suit. Being plus size is not exactly ideal when trying to find a flattering suit.

Do you have any thrift stores in your area? That might be a good option. Also if there are any GoodWill or Salvation Army stores around. I have heard people say that sometimes you can find clothes with the tags still on them there. Just an idea.

Good luck with the interview. Nerves are good...keeps you on your toes. My daugher does interviews. If you want a list of standard questions just let me know. A few tips that I feel are important...1.) Nice sturdy hand shake 2.) No perfume (or just light) 3.) Make eye contact at all times. 4.) Bring in a list of answers you think that they may ask. It is better to be prepaired.
