On the losers bench that is. I'm finished. I got done yesterday. I'm having minimal pain and have been up walking several times. I hope to go home tonight.

I have an elevated temp though 99.5.

The surgery was very painful when I first woke up because the pain medicine crashed my blood pressure. So they couldn't give me anymore pain meds until it came back up. It took about 3 doses of morphine to get it back under control.

I've been drinking today. Just tiny sips though. I just took another Loritab so I'll probally be sleepy again soon.

Oh my. I can not imagine not being able to have ny pain meds immediately after the surgery. I had a pain pump full of dilaudid and pushed the button everytime it turned green for at least the first day. I hope you are feeling better now. Glad to hear from you.

I actually began weaning myself off of the meds this morning. I want to go home, so I've been following all of the Doc's orders. Physical therapy came in to see me, and made me walk around the nurses station. I did so good tt they said they didn't need to come back and see me.

I just saw my surgeon. He said I could go home. Yay!!! I do have to say that ambulating has been easier with this than it was after my c-sections.

welcome to the other side!!! That's interesting about the blood pressure..mine SPIKED after surgery and they had to work pretty hard to get it back under control...what is it about this surgery that whacks out our blood pressure???
