I had a doctor's appointment today and he was so happy with how things are going now. (me too) He moved me up to pureed/soft foods for the next two weeks, then can start regular foods. He said that with my previous problems, I am at more risk for a stricture, but if it happens we will deal with it. I am feeling so good now and am getting to the point that with even all the post-op complications I am happy that I had the surgery. It's exciting to see the scale move down and have lots of energy again!

Wannabe, good hear both you and your dr are happy. I hope you don't develop strictures, but even if it does, both you and your dr are careful about it, so I'm sure you'll be able to have it taken care of without much trouble. As for tech jobs, go to FAQ in the navigation bar right above the banner pics, or check out the Tech Question sub-forum, and you'll find pointers there.

Glad your doing better. Sounds like you had a rough time starting out. I think its great you shared your story. For those who are looking into the surgery need to hear that there are complications and that you deal with them as you go.
