(pics) Ok....so, we played "Beauty Shop" at my house last night...and my hubby was such a 'sport'....he did a great job...and after a quick demonstration as I showed him how to put the color in as I applied all I could reach on the top and thru the front sides..... Then he went to town!!! He did a great job..... I've only tried to color my own hair one other time....and it was a disaster!! So, I was pretty nervous....even picking a color was nerve racking!! I did the best I could with the synthetic hair swatches...but, overall...I think it looks pretty close to my old color. It freaked me out a little when I saw it....the highlights were almost the color of our walls!!! But....now it's "growing on me!!" LOL...... If you don't like it...don't tell me....I'm still too new in the process...and it is our 'first try!" LOL..... When I need a touch up....if I go for the same color....then if you don't like it you can let me know!! LOL.....

Oooooh, I love your hair color!! It becomes you!! Yeah, a bit funny it's close to your wall color, I guess you can blend in with the wall and become the Invisible Woman when you are in danger!

your hair looks great. that's close to the color that i do my hair but mine's a bit more flouresency. I can't think of any other word to describe it. I get my brothers girlfriend to do mine for me. By the way, do you find you have to do two bottles with your hair as long as it is or is one bottle sufficient.?

DOC - Russ and I laughed at your post....Russ loves "comic book" stories...X-men and other stuff like that...so we got a chuckle about it!! Thanks JOLIE.....how was Autumn Blaze??? Soooo fun I bet!! BIRDIE - I just used one application....I bought the color at the pharmacy...and pharmacies here in NYC....are a bit different from a CVS, ECKERD or WALGREENS.....it's this 'mom & pop' type...and the only color they had was this feria....by LOREAL....the color bottle was one application, and the the processor has 3 applications...and then I had to buy a separate conditioner. Anyway..... ONE APPLICATION...and I had plenty to do my eyebrows....and plenty left!! BECCA - I've never tried that....sounds very cool.... KAT - YOU've Got an idea there....very fun!!!! I love coloring my sisters...and friends....when you coming???? SOON!!!

You look great! As for the coloring though..... You may want to be careful during your hairloss time and coloring it. My beautician (sister) said that it's not the best time to be coloring, to wait until your hair becomes healthier so you will not loose as much because the color causes your hair to dry out and then more will fall out. With that said, you do look great and the color looks really good on you, just becareful.
