Question Unjury and lactose intolerance

I've been reading a lot about Unjury being a great protein source, but noticed that milk is an ingredient in most of the flavors. I am lactose intolerant, if you are too and have tried it, I would love to know how you reacted.
I think I'll order the trial packets and see if I like them and how my tummy reacts.

Thanks!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

also try the chicken soup flavor. no idea what the ingredients are but it is very much like a broth. i hope you find somethingyou can tolerate if you have lactose issues maybe the isopure juice type protein drinks may work for you? i personally cannot handle the taste but other rave about them. you can find them at gnc.

OMG I never thought of that! See, you newbies can teach us oldtimers new things. I think I'm slightly lactose intolerant - I can eat cottage cheese and other LF cheeses, but I get slight nausea whenever I try milk on my cereal, or ice cream or pudding.

I bought unjury when I first had my RNY but pouch got upset whenever I tried to drink something with unjury in it so I gave up. Lately I've been trying to find recipies that I can put unjury in and each thing I try, the pouch doesn't like. Hmmmm, I think I finally see the light.

Yes, get the sample packets and let me know if you can't tolerate it either.

Oops, I see now that you've been doing this a lot longer than I have. Sorry for calling you a newbie.

Still, thanks for pointing out the milk in Unjury. I knew it was there, just looked that the label last week, but it just didn't sink in.

LOL, newbie to the site, oldie to the surgery with a recent 40 lb gain due to back surgery and Achilles injury. So I'm going back to the start so to speak because I just can't see that 200 on the scale ever again!
Yeah I have to wait until I get paid, but I'm also going to hit some local health food stores and see what other options there are again. "NECTAR" was what was big when I had my surgery in 2003, but it seems that with the Atkins diet going the way of the wind, there are fewer sugar free or low carb options at the grocery store. My fave is still Smucker's Sugar Free boysenberry preserves...better than regular if you ask me and Walmart brand regular peanut butter is actually pretty low carb, put those two together on one slice o'bread and it's a great snack.
