Default magic bullet

Okay, so another product question, but does anybody own a magic bullet blender system? This is the counter top blender/chopper system advertised on tv. I heard someone at a support group meeting say that it was a wonderful investment. I was just wondering if anyone has one, and if it is worth the money in your opinion.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

YES a few people i know got the magic bullet....
personally i bought a cheap balck and decker chopper
at walmart for $13 that i used for my pureed stage.
I buy ready made shakes cause im lazy but love to make
chicken salad in my chopper. I know the women in our support group was magic bulleting all foods early on....
for me it was to expensive for something i needed for about a week! MY chooper worked fine and i used it
often but at $13 who cares if i never use it again
LOL....

I have a Magic Bullet, works pretty good. But I often think about calling the manufacturer and asking them"Is thing supposed to smell like its burning when I use it" literally like burning melting plastic. Maybe mine is defective. I don't use it cause I'm afraid it will catch fire. But it does chop stuff up real good. Best of luck.

Holy cow, I would be worried if it smelled like that too. I don't even have a blender yet from being married 7 1/2 years so I kinda like the fact that it would come with a full size blender too. I have been drooling over the ads on tv for one for at least a year now, and figure that this would be a good excuse to get one. Thanks for the info.

Tax returns just came in YEAH!, so I ordered a Magic Bullet set including the blender for only $40 off of ebay. That includes shipping and handling. The drawback is that it isn't the metal and black looking one, it is white, but I am hoping that it will still work as good. I will have to let ya all know how well it works when I get it. I want to get it soon, since I want to make virgin margaritas for me and some friends to celebrate before my surgery, or nutritionist appointment. My hubby doesn't care for margarita's or daquiris, or even pina coladas, but I love the flavors of them. We don't drink, so I have never had the real thing, but if I ever did drink alcohol it would have to be the froofroo drinks like that. Just wanted to tell someone since I am excited about it.

I love my Magic Bullet. I use it all the time. It really helps to make protein powders into palatable drinks.

thanks for responding Robin. I am anxious to get mine when it comes and try it out. I know that nothing is as good as the commercial makes it sound, but I am hoping that it will still be pretty good. Right now with a sore tooth, it would come in handy to puree my food now.

I have the magic bullet, and must say although I like it, I also have another normal blender which I still prefer.

The magic bullet I have doesnt have any speed controls, so you cabnt really just chop something - like onions - it all just ends up as a puree!

My bullet also smells burnt after I use it. and i think also that due to the size of the smaller containers, it doesnt rotate the food very well and you end up having to unscrew and stir to get everything down to the blade.

I just got my magic bullet today and made hubby a mint choc chip milkshake with it. It was okay, but in order to get the ice cream to blend I had to add too much milk and it wasn't very thick. I am still excited to have it here and look forward to trying to make a brocolli cream soup or a chicken salad tomorrow. I really wish that I had some margarita or daquiri mix to make a virgin drink while I still can, but I can imagine how good it would taste and try to be satisfied with that.

Pillows - are you still using your Magic Bullet? If so, is it as great as it looks? I am thinking about getting one.
