Angry DUMPING SYNDROME: Guess I don't have it...

OK....I know I'm gonna get a lot of 'FLACK' for this...but, I caved!!!

'Bella got a HUGE halloween package from her Grammie for Halloween...and had mini packs of candy.... Well...I totally caved and ate a pack of M & M's....(normal size 1.69oz. bag) Over the course of 15 minutes.... I ate every little plain M&M - the whole pack!!

I started to tell myself....I'll know for sure if I have the dumping syndrome....and then after looked at the sugar grams!

OMG!!! 31grams....

So....unfortunately, I don't I have it!!
I'm fine...just a little bummed that I don't have "dumping syndrome!! I really hoped that I would have it.
I've had a bite of "sweet" here and there....but never went overboard like tonight.~

Anyway...go ahead - hit me!!!

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.

Like a friend once said to me (do you remember?) You have had your bad habits for many years. Don't beat yourself up for one mistake. You are doing awesomely. To put things in perspective, remember when one of those tiny bags would not even hold up as an hors d'oeuvres? Your doing great things for yourself and your family. Just get back up there on that wagon.

Hey listen...that's why I try and post my food every day. Many times I post things that I'm not proud of but it keeps me honest and keeps things in perspective for me. Posting my food is my addiction, like Belle was asking about.

YEAH unfortunately with the odds of 40 percent dumping/60 percent dont...the odds are not very good. I dont dump on sweets but didnt test this for a long time, and truthfully wish i never was told to test the waters.
CAUSE the fear of getting dumping kept me clean but now that i know
i dont, i find the taste here the taste there have increased and it has me
frustrated. YOUR going to have to really work hard and keep on track
knowing this. ITS a tool we have to use right.
ITs not an easy way out at all.
this is a horrible time of year with the candies and treats all around us.
I know for me i have some SUGAR free treats on hand so if i cave at least
its with those. THOSE arent to good either their loaded with carbs and sugar alchols. BUT at least they give me a good laxitive effect and clean me out some.
(Sorry gross)
only advice is just be careful and dont get into the rut i have! ITS not an easy place to be. JUST be careful now and fight the cravings for more during a hard few months with lots of goodies all around us. PERHAPS do one extra excersise thing today to compensate that bag????
just a suggestion.
I know for me im going to sign back up to the gym tuesday to compensate
for all the bad tastes i been doing. GOOD LUCK!
and thats what the board is for
sometimes its good to talk about it...
and put it behind and GO FORWARD!

Deb,

I just wanted to stop by and offer my support. You are doing WONDERFUL! Don't be so hard on yourself. Everyone does something bad every once in awhile. It happens, we are humans. Thanks for your wonderful honesty. I do stuff all the time that I know isn't good, or right, but don't have the guts to come here and talk about it due to the fact that I don't want to be critized. I know I wouldn't get if from everyone, but after I do it I am hard enough on myself.

I so, know how you feel Deb, at Kimi's birthday party, i had a very small slice of cake, and i was like, oh boy i'm going to puke all the way home........But i was fine,,,,,,,,But the cake was so sweet, i had like 2 baby bites........
Anything sweet is to sweet for me....even sugar free....So dont feel bad. It happeneds.......Its not like you are doing it all day everyday, we are all just.....human.

I dont think i have it either, i still can't eat meats, though. That is what makes me so sick........

My dr, told me that sugar free candys etc, the sugar alchol's are fine, that is just flavors, its not really anything to be worried about, he said just watch the carbs, fat they add to make sugar free stuff, taste better.

But i did find some, sugar free choclate milk mix, and hot coco. So i'm going to try that.......

But girl really dont beat your self up, it happeneds.......Gosh we have ate, that stuff like for, HOW MANY YEARS.......Its hard to just stop...And the holidays are the worst, look at Christmas, what we are going to have to go through.........And we have to bake it.......

I have found alot of sugar free, things i'm going to make useing splenda..........And the family is all for it......

It will be ok,,,,,,,love ya girl.........

Oh Deb... its ok... thoes little M&M's are gone now.. and yo have had a taste that will keep you for months... I havent had the dumping thing either,,,I ate a brownie the other day with nice thick chocolate frosting, and thought for sure that i wuld get it.. but nothing. So what does that mean.. I dont kow.. My brother in law had WLS 4 weeks ago and he has dumping with every little tiny sweet thing he eats...he will find out, Im sure....that he cant do that.. Peggy
