Default Walk for the Cure

Hello all. I hope you are having a great day.

I just got in from our local Walk for the Cure for Breast Cancer. My good friend was diagnosed with Breast cancer, and I went to walk with her. While the mood seemed positive..........festive really...........I just feel so sad and so down after the whole thing. The women who are survivors were very upbeat, but I just felt so sad the whole time I was walking.

Please pray for my friend. She starts chemo this week. I am very worried about her.

Thanks for listening. S

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Will do. Breast cancer runs very strongly in my family. It is a horrible thing. I hope your friend does well with the chemo. My sister drank a ton of water when she went through hers and it seemed to help the nausa. Give me a call if you want to talk...I'm her for ya!

((((((HUGS))))))), SHH, prayers for your friend.
It is a difficult disease, but can be treated, and many have survived, so keep up your chin and hope.

To all the women on board, a reminder to have a breast X-ray or US study done once a year, to catch the disease early, especially if it runs strong in your family. Keep in mind, obesity is known to up the risk of breast cancer among others, so, even after your weightloss, it pays to be dilligent.
I will be very sad if I hear any one of you being diagnosed late for this, after you have done all you have done for your second chance at a healthy and happy life.

Hey Shhh, I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I am sure that she is feeling very grateful for a friend like you to help support her through this massive struggle and trial. I know that I would be. Many prayers will be going out her way from this board and for you also, that you may be able to continue to support her in the best way possible. Best of luck with her health and your continued friendship.
