 |  Finally..... A DATE!!!!!!!!
Well I got the call from my surgeon at 10 am saying I have been APPROVED
  I just can't stand myself I am soooooo happy.
I go to see the surgeon for my pre op appt 4/23/09 and my surgery date is May 6. The best thing is I can continue drinking the protein shakes I have and really like for the 10-14 days prior to surgery. I've been drinking them for breakfast and lunch for about 2 1/2 weeks now. OMG they are so good and I'm glad I don't have to drink some kind of really nasty stuff. Thanks to everyone for all their kind words and support through this whole approval process. I couldn't have been nearly as patient as I was if it weren't for this site and all of you.

Wonderful news, Patti!! I feel your excitement all the way in California!! Time will fly by, and as Da Perfesser says, hang on for the ride of your life! Many ups and downs, but it's all good in the end. I doubt you'll find anyone on here that regrets this decision! Looking forward to seeing you on the Loser's Bench!
