Talking Actually looking forward tooo

Takeing my required CPR class tonight.

NOW going back to the last 2 times I took the class
i was just to obesite and had a very difficult time bending
down on my knees and doing CPR on the dummies used
for practical. I could barely reach and to what I had to hated
it.

BUT i know tonight I will have no trouble at all
bending over for the required cpr training and working on my
practical part of the class. I know my kness wont kill
me, i will be able to lean over my body and do this with
ease.

GOT love weight loss!
NOW i only have to stress on the TEST! LOL

thought i would share....

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Well, you're gonna find some procedures changed this year,
It's gonna be 2 resp, 30 chest compressions at the rate of 100 per min, 2 resp, 30 pushes, until someone gets the AED, then, CPR again for 2 mins, immediately after one shock, if the AED is up to the 2005 guideline.
The exception is for kids and there are 2 ppl who can administer CPR. In that case, it's 2/15 as before.
Have fun!!

Oh sure so it will confuse me even more! LOL

but i think im doing the american heart association which pushed the AED verse the american red cross.

Sheeesh hope the test is not written...
thanks!

SHELLEY, i tend to take it with different people each time i sign up.
BUT i just know last time i couldnt bend over my chest and fat
to do on the dummy dolls and it was embarassing.
THE teacher wuoldnt even let me do a table top rescue....it sucked
meanie she didnt know what it was like to be obesite.

Here's the link to the press release if you're curious.
Hope you made it good.

HEY DOC
completed my class with flying colors.

EVEN had my picture taken to be in the school
district newspaper!!! IT was so easy for me to
do the CPR on the practice dummy. BUT my
heart went out to two others in my class
that were obesite nad struggling.
BUT this instructor was nice and
let them use a table, your not always
so fortunate.
YEP alot changed and far easier to learn
and remember! FOR That i had to take full
class verse a quick practical recertification.
2 breaths 30 compresses and alot faster
action!
I think the changes are good!
NOW hopefully i never have to use
my trained skills!

Knew you'd do it!
Yes, one of the changes was to make it easier for the non-med pros.
There's a couple of other things added for pros, but for non-medicals, much easier and faster, straight to action.
Best if none of us have to use it, but it's kinda good exercise when you practice.

Deborah, if you can kneel and bend forward far enough to place your palm flat on the floor easily, you'll ace it!!
Check the link I've posted in post #5 in this thread, it gives you a summary of what has to be done.

Well truthfully i find the AMERICAN heart assoication course
far easier the the American red crosses version.

SO im sticking with it .
I tend to recooment all parents to take
the classes when they have small toddlers
and infants do to chokeing hazards with food.
(okay all kids, my daughter choked on pizza at
8 and its scary)

The class i took was a recertification course, meaning
it moved fast because it was people who take it annually.
I took it at a great price thru my schools adult education
programs. It was quite the workout doing chest compressions
30 times and the breaths repeating this 5 times....
and doing over and over! BUT i love the training and hope
to GOD i never have to use the skills. I actually got a CD-ROM
at the class that i can use anytime to refresh my brain on the skills
i hear my recert next year (if they dont change things) will be real
fast! TOOOO coool!

NEXt week im off to community first aide course given by the american red cross!
