Default I am so freaking hungry!!!

3 Days to go and my appetite is RAGING! I have had a day or two where it was sufferable, but not one single normal day. If anything its gotten progressively worse. I am so hungry. Is this the way I am going to feel the rest of my life? I don't know if I could live this way.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

No you won't. The pre-op liquid stage is the worse. I had mine done on March 18th and I am not hungry at all. I make sure I drink at least 64 ounces of water a day and I think that helps. Try drinking more water or put some crystal light in your water to give you some flavor. I found that during my liquid stage that if I drank a lot of water it helped keep the hungrys away!! Keep your chin up it does get better. It is the best thing I have done and I wish I had done it before I was fifty years old!!

I was allowed to "snack" if you can call it that on my pre-op diet. I was allowed up to 2 sugar free popsiscles, 2 sugar free jellos, and 2 cups of broth per day. Never did the popsiscles, but the jello and especially the broth REALLY helped with the hunger!!

I get SF Jello, crystal lite, Popsicles, and broth. The broth helps the most. I stay very hydrated, always have.
I am the opposite of a sweet tooth, so the popsicles and Jello just seem to make me angry that I cannot have a burger or steak.

I NEVER thought I would have to survive off of carnation instant breakfast.

I'm just being a whimp... I'll get over myself and trudge on. Just having a bad morning.

I'm on my 7th day of clear liq, it was hard the first 2 days I was weak, hungry and angry but I keep telling myself "You can do this" and I have. My surgery is this monday 27th . Stay focus and you will do just fine. One thing that help me the most was using protein power mixed in a blender with ice and a little skim milk its been a blessing to me.

Oh, the dreaded liquid diet!!!! UGH...the first 4 days were killerrrrrrrrr!! Once I got past 5 it was all down hill for me! It does get easier, you still have the same size stomach now and are eating like you had the surgery. Crazy isnt it??? Everyone is here for you!!! You are almost there now.

Everyone speaks the truth here. LOL

You won't feel physically hungry once your surgery is done, but you may feel mentally hungry..which is what we call "head hunger", and you may have a little bit of head hunger now. Push the liquids and take a walk to get your mind off your growling tummy.

You will do great!
