well, if i've had the surgery i'll either be on purees or soft foods so i should be ok as far as food goes then, if asked i will tell people about the surgery and this is what i have to do no ifs ands or buts (

no i said buts, not butts, teeheehee)
if i haven't had the surgery i am going to let myself have a little of whatever but not to much. I've been cutting down on what i'm eating and have almost eliminated sweets completely, and have been staying away from breads, pasta and potatoes, so i'll try to stick to it, but if i have a little it won't be as bad as stuffing myself till i can't move because it tastes so good. May talk to my mom before the meal part and tell her that to help deal with not wanting to eat to much i may remove myself before everybody is done eating. then again now that i eat so much slower i may not have to worry about that.
never ended up having thanksgiving dinner, so that wasn't a problem.
Halloween? good question...well, we didn't actually have any trick or treaters last year so i may get some candy but not lots, i do like the idea of having a special treat on reserve just incase the candy craze hits. Probably get a white sugar free chocolate bar.
