Hello all, wtg on your surgery date.. I finally got mine, I go July 28th at 8am est. I only get to have 9 days of liquid diet, since the day 10 is our family reunion and yesterday i went for my history and physical, (pre-op) and to sign the consent, i asked the dr about postponing it for one day. I did try the diet for a day or so, i wasn't hungry until i missed 2 little jugs of the nutritent drink. That is going to be my biggest hurdle is eating/drinking every two hours at first. Then i'm worried about how i'm going to feed everyone in my house healthy, cause i'll be danged if only my bad eating habits get changed..lol.. i cook, they eat, they will eat healthy!!. good luck.

Ahh the liquid diet phase. I didnt have to do it but was here when others had to. From what I have noticed....and read its the hardest the first 3-4 days then it dont bother them as much? You will however make it all the way through until your surgery and then after. Just think your gonna have gourmet jello for a while! I joking. But somthing to put you teeth into and it will seem so silly then.

Take care of you and follow directions. It counts now more than ever!
