| Big Loser | Ha! I had the brilliant idea of getting a walking partner...a dog. That would make me walk every day. Well, I got a Basset, not thinking about it being a scent hound. Walk 3 steps, stop, sniff, pee. 4 steps, sniff, pee...and so it goes. Takes and hour to get around the block! I think my heart rate gets up to maybe 80. Vicki |

| WLS Mentor | So speaking of insanity i saw this and just had to share.... HOW TO KEEP A HEALTHY LEVEL OF INSANITY 1. At lunchtime, sit in your parked car with sunglasses on and point a hair dryer at passing cars. See if they slow down. 2. Page yourself over the intercom. Don't disguse your voice. 3. Every time someone asks you to do something, ask if they want fries with that. 4. Put your garbage can on your desk and label it "in". 5. Put decafe in the voffee maker for 3 weeks. Once everyone has gotten over their caffeine addictions, switch to expresso 6. In the memo field of all your checks, write, "for sexual favors". 7. Finish all of your sentences with "in accordance with the prophecy". 8. Don't use any punctuation marks 9. As often as possible, skip rather than walk or walk everywhere back wards 10. As people what sex they are. Laugh hysteically after they answer 11. Specify that your drive-thru-order is "to go". 12. Sing along at the opera 13. Go to a poetry recital and ask why the poems don't rhyme 14. Put mosquito netting around your work area. Play a tape of jungle sounds all day. 15. Have your co-workers address you by your wrestling name *Rock Hard Kim* 16. When the money comes out of the ATM, scream, "I won! I won! 3rd time this week!" 17. When leaving the zoo, start running towards the parking lot, yelling, "run for your lives, they're loose!" 18. Stand on the sidewalk looking to the top of a building and see how many people glance up or even stop to see what your looking at without asking you. I like #'s 4, 5, 9, 11, 14, and 16 and 17 the best.

| MORNIN TO YA. I KNOW THAT FEELING ALL TO WELL LIVING IN THE UPPERMIDWEST. I HAVE FOUND THOUGH, THAT ON THOSE DAYS I TEND TO PICK UP MY SPEED WITH THE WALKING. I CAN REALLY FEEL THE BURN THEN. LOL I TRY TO KEEP MY 2 MILE TWICE DAILY WALKS IN THE 30 MINUTE RANGE. I HAVE FOUND THOUGH, ON COLDER DAYS I AM DOING IT IN ABOUT 28 MINUTES OR SO. I TOLD ALL OF THE PEOPLE ALREADY ON HERE I HATE THE COLD, BUT I THINK I MAY BE STARTING TO ENJOY IT JUST A BIT. LOL GREAT JOB AND KEEP IT UP. mike |
